ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE COUNCIL ON THE WHATSAPP CHANNEL

For some time now, due to issues beyond the control of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell Council and changes in WhatsApp policy, the municipal WhatsApp channel has been experiencing technical problems, causing the channel and chats to crash when broadcast messages are sent. The bug affects the iOS operating system for iPad and iPhone users.

In order to prioritise the receipt of complaints and suggestions from citizens through the usual channel and to avoid blockages, a new broadcast channel has been opened through which notices, alerts, news and events will be published as before.
